CALL FOR PAPERS: tekom Europe Annual Year-End Publication 2020
Technical writing is your job, but do you also enjoy writing about technical communication? If so, this is your chance to get your ideas, insights, studies, and work in the field of technical communication published.
tekom Europe cordially invites you to contribute a paper for the tekom Europe Year-End Publication, Volume 4, December 2020. We are looking for interesting proposals for articles in various areas of technical communication such as – but not limited to – the following topics:

All Topics, All Levels Are Welcome
Our annual publication has no overall thematic focus. We welcome all articles – from both new and experienced authors – on any of the above topics or other TC-related areas. We also welcome best practice reports, or papers taking into account a regional perspective or a country’s development in technical communication. We want our publication to be as varied as the wide target audience of our European members, from beginner to expert level in different industries.
What Do We Need from You?
To apply as an author, please send us a title and abstract of your paper as well as your short CV. Which topics and subtopics will you concentrate on? The outline is designed to provide information to the executive board and will not be published. Rather, the board will use the outline to evaluate and accept/reject your article. All papers must be in English.
What:
a. Title (max. 100 characters including spaces) and
b. Abstractof your paper (max. 2000 characters including spaces), and
c. Short CV (max. 300 characters including spaces)

Deadline for submission is April 30, 2020

Who Will Select the Papers?
Papers will be selected by a group of editors from the technical communication industry and from academia. The proposals will be collected at the tekom Europe head office and forwarded to the editors for review. You should receive feedback on your paper by mid-May.
When Is the Full Article Due?
Authors of accepted papers will have time until July 31, 2020 to submit their full article. tekom Europe will provide a guideline for authors and a template. The full article should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
